FRx - FRx rounding transactions

ReportReport
Posted on by 140

Hi everybody,

I need help, please. I have a GP 9 with FRx 6.7 installed in a server. Users connect to the server using Remote Desktop Connection. I have a report that group many accounting counts and it has no rounding options. There are two windows users "x" and "y".  When the user "x" prints the report the group show all decimals but when user "y" prints the same report the amount are rounded to 00.

Thanks in advance.

Carla

Hi, what service pck areyou on (although if one user is printing correctly and the other is not - its most likely a user specific / user profile issue).

Can you check the currency format for the user that has the problem. log in to TS as that user and go to Start >> Control Panel >> Regional and Language options and select the Format tab...Does their currency field look like 123,456,789.00 ?

If so, their currency format is set to display zero decimals. Click on 'Customise this Format' to change the 'Number of digits after decimal' to 2.

Try and print the report again and see what happens....its a long-ish shot!!!...but if one user is OK and the other is not...and they both use the same install of FRx, then it has to be a profile issue...

    Hi Ian,

    Thanks for answer.

Yes, it is a FRx report.

Yes, FRx is intalled in the terminal server that all user connect to.

Yes, both users haver the same terminal server.

    • "many accounting counts"  my mistake. I mean "many posting accounts"
    • A group is a row an the definition of rows with the Fmt Code column with CALC.
    • yes, the report is not set up to round amounts or formats: special format mask in columns layout or  D related rates/rows/unit in rows formats.
    • both user are printing the report using from the catalog of reports, no FRx drill down viewer.
    • yes, both users are using the same sysdata directory.
    • Yes, it's the same report on the same company.

    The report looks like that:

    ASSETS

    1,630,215.00

      Should be >>

    1,630,214.67

    Cash

    22,752.02

    0-0-11101

    Cash 1

    16,189.61

    0-0-11102

    Cash 2

    6,562.41

    Bank

    1,607,462.65

    0-011201

    Bank1

    -234.49

    0-011202

    Bank2

    9,052.13

    0-011203

    Bank3

    711,231.00

    0-011204

    Bank4

    886,818.00

    0-011205

    Bank5

    29.26

    0-011206

    Bank6

    368.13

    0-011207

    Bank7

    199.62

I want that the complete amount appears in the report, how can I do that?.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Re: FRx - FRx rounding transactions

Hi, is this an Frx report? Is FRx installed on the terminal server? and do both users use the same terminal server?

    • What do you mean by 'many accounting counts'...what are 'counts'?
    • When you say 'the group show all decimals' - what is a 'group'?
    • When you say 'it has no rounding options' - do you mean that the report is not set up to round amounts? - ie 'No rounding' is selected in the report definition.
    • Are both users printing the report to the Frx drill down viewer?
    • Are both users using the same sysdata directoy?
    • Is the report being run for te same company by both users?

Sorry for all the questions, just making sure I understand the issue.

    Best regards,
