there are many ways to do that. If you wanna save these complicated steps and find a easy way, you can google code 128 generator and you will find many useful tools, or google how to create code 128 to get instructive articles. i am using a code128 generator which can create code 128 in c#, vb.net,etc. and i think it's easy to use. if you don't have a better choice , you can have a try.

Laterly, i'm involved in .net barcode project, vb programming and used barcode font for printing issue. In my research, there're other solutions like barcode lable software and barcode control toolkit can help with how to make code 128 barcode using vb.net.
It's easy to make code 128 barcode.
You need a barcode generator firstly, you can find many such software on google.
Most need payment, but they were multifunctional, for example, now I'm using a barcode generator in vb.net . And there are also some free barcode generator, which only with a simple function.

As i know,there are all kinds of barcode generators to create and print upc barcode 128.They can generate code128 in c#.net and generate code128 in vb.net,even in other places.What 3rd parties for you to choose depends on the platform you are going to print code128.
