Importing Fixed Assets records in Fixed Asset Journal

Hi All,

How to do the exported  Fixed Asset records (excel file), insert into Fixed Asset Journal using Xmlports?

Please help me

    Consider whether the records should generate ledger entries. Note that there is a general fixed asset journal (generates ledger entries) and a fixed asset journal

    I would recommend you use the edit in excel feature instead of XML ports or configurations packages.

    My favorite among the option Vaishnavi J listen for you.

    Fixed Assets need the fixed asset master record, at least one fixed asset depreciation book record (contains method, starting date, life, etc), transactions for acquisition cost and transactions for accumulated depreciation so that you can balance to your current ledger.

    you can import the fixed assets using three ways

    1. Use Copy and Paste method this is fastest method. Refer the below link

    2. Use configuration package. Refer the below link.

    3. Use Edit in excel feature. Refer the below link.
