IIS 8 splash Page

I've recently configured CRM 2013 for IFD and when accessing externally I land on the IIS 8 splash page. I can reach the adfs.domain.com/federationmetadata/2007-06/federationmetadata.xml page fine. Wondering if anyone else has had this happen?

Let me provide a bit more information. I have a Windows server 2012 standard and configured CRM /AD FS for IFD as described by the dynamics crm videos. All of the internal URL's work perfectly with authentication. When I access the site externally using https://orgname.domain.com it pulls up the IIS 8 splash page. If I try using https://orgname.domain.com:444 it shows page cannot be displayed but the crm 2013 .ico shows in the browser next to the url. I've checked that ports 443 and 444 are open.

Not sure what else to try. Any advise is greatly appreciated!

Hello. I just ran into this same problem. Everything internal works perfect, but when I try from external I am directed to the iis8 landing page and adfs doesn't even try to pick up and re-direct. Is there a permission setting that i'm missing? I've been racking my brain for a few hours now watched the videos 5 times. Everything seems to be correct, yet its not working publicly.

    Thank you.

Can you try running fiddler (you'll probably have to turn on https, see the fiddler guide if you're not familiar With the tool), then check which page is giving the error.

Also, do you have the same domain name internally and externally?

I'm not familiar with Fiddler, but i'll check it out.

    My internal url is: internalcrm.domain.com

    External url is: https://orgname.domain.com

What's the binding on your CRM website in IIS. It looks like when you access https://orgname.domain.com url, you are redirected to the default website, which means your crm website is running on port 444 binding which is why you see the CRM icon in the address bar.

If there are multiple binding for your CRM website, you wont be able to access it.

I removed all bindings from the CRM site

https://csgcrm.csgservices.com is the URL and you'll see it brings up the IIS page. Everything works perfectly internal though so this is puzzling.

I removed the default is what I meant.

    Hello Nicholas,

I would request you to create a support ticket with Microsoft, so we can take a look at the configuration.

Where would I submit this ticket at? Do you have a location?
