Microsoft Dynamics 365 9.1 on-prem with Power Automate

I have Microsoft Dynamics 365 9.1 and I want to integrate with Power Automate.
 
Is it possible? Can advice?

    Yes, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (version 9.1) can be integrated with Power Automate. Power Automate offers a Microsoft Dataverse connector (formerly known as Common Data Service - CDS) that allows you to automate workflows between Dynamics 365 and other applications.
    Here’s a step-by-step guide:
    1. Check Your Licensing & Permissions
    • Ensure your Dynamics 365 subscription includes Dataverse access.
    • You need at least a Power Automate per-user or per-flow plan.
    • Your user role in Dynamics 365 should have proper permissions to read/write data.
       
    2. Use Microsoft Dataverse Connector
    Power Automate provides two main connectors:
    • Dataverse Connector (recommended)
    • Dynamics 365 (deprecated) – Avoid using it as Microsoft prefers Dataverse.
       
    3. Creating a Flow in Power Automate
    Triggering Events from Dynamics 365
    1. Go to Power Automate (https://flow.microsoft.com).
    2. Click Create > Automated cloud flow.
    3. Choose a trigger:
      • When a row is added, modified, or deleted (Dataverse)
      • When an action is performed in Dynamics 365
    4. Select your Dataverse table (e.g., "Contacts", "Leads", "Opportunities").
    5. Define flow conditions and actions:
      • Send an email or Teams notification when a record is updated.
      • Create an approval process for sales deals.
      • Sync data with SharePoint, Outlook, or an external database. 
    4. Testing & Deployment
    • Run test cases to ensure the automation works.
    • Deploy the flow and monitor logs in Power Automate's run history.

    It's not as fully-fledged as the cloud D365 CRM, and requires significantly more effort. We are having the same discussion internally about our on-prem D365 CRM's.
