We are setting a production environment we have a situation where the BOM called for 1.5 m of raw material Metal sheet, but when the picking occurs they have to provide a full metal sheet that is 6X6 meters, the factory will cut the needed quantity from the full metal sheet and return the remainder to stock
what is the best way to manage this, note that it was very important to track the remainder pieces back to stock for future use
so for next time, they have the remainder of the pieces that they can use for other production orders and they need to know that it exists
how do you suggest we go about it
