Item swapping in Ax2012

Hi,

I have raised a PO for for the Following 

  • Item A - 100 Nos
  • Item B - 100 Nos

I have done the GRN for the same but instead of Item A i selected Item B

Now i want to do swapping  from Item B to Item A , 

Both has the same unit price

please advise

    Hi Sriram GS,

    You will have to correct the GRN that has been posted and post a new corrective GRN for item B and a correct GRN for item A.

    There is no shortcut to 'swap' things.

    Hi,

    Just a suggestion, you can use bom journal. bom line is -100 B and bom header is +100 A

    Is it possible to swap between the dimensions of the item ie. variants like size, colour etc.

    All changes that you want to make require adjustment / correction postings.

    Unfortunately, there is no shortcut.
