Project timesheets - limitation for number of hours reported per day

Hi,

I have to set up the maximum number of hours that can be reported per day in project timesheets. For example, the user to not be able to report more than 8 hours per day.

I tried the calendar, and I tried the max hours in the employee card.

All setups seem to be informational and not restrictive.

Can you please share how such a setup can be made?

    Hi Simeon Ivanov,

    In HR module at your worker record there is a project setup tab that allows you setting up a max hour calendar or alternatively the maximum working time per day for the specific worker.

    If you do that you cannot prevent users from submitting more hours than allowed but they will at least get a warning message. Maybe this is something that would help.

    Yes, I have done all setups in the Project setup page but the customer wants to completely restrict the posting of timesheets which exceed the daily hours.

    Is this at all possible?

    The solution is to use the project timesheet policies. You can set up maximum and minimum hours per day and per week
