Hi All ,
Can i know which report is available in Dynamics to have the actual inventory value and unit cost price if the client uses standard cost ?
Already crated the inventory value report in the Inventory module ------- Inventory value report setup has an option - Average unit cost - Calculate average unit cost . If this field enables system pickup the average unit cost in the inventory value report than standard cost value .
Any assistance how to over come this issue ?
Hi,
I think Inventory value report is the best report in D365 for inventory valuation but for getting standard cost you might need to calculate manually based on total value and quantity .
Otherwise you can also extract the standard cost for all items separately from item master or cost management
Thanks ,but the items transaction volume is huge and any light which table fields data to be exported/extracted to have total value and qty.

Thanks for the reply ,
Item transactions exported to excel and done some analysis . It's noticed that inventory transactions cost amount was correct as per the standard cost price is defined ,but inventory value report and inventory aging report shows different total amount value and average cost price .
Ideally reports should have actual total value and standard cost price.
Any light why and how to address this issue or which report shows the correct inventory value as per standard cost price ?
