A/R Parameter - Safety Level of Invoiced Orders

Hi!

As a default, we have Safety level of invoice orders set to Locked. There are situations when we might want to edit our Source Code field in the Sales Header after invoicing (if there's a typo or something in it) without needing to change the Safety Level. Does anyone know where in the AOT this could be customized so that field is editable regardless of whether the sales order is invoiced or not?

    Hi bsarge,

Is it only the source code field in the header that you want to change or do you also have a financial dimension that reflects the content of this field? I have seen companies setting up a financial dimension that reflects the source code. Is this also the case in your system?

    Hi Ludwig,

No, our source code field doesn't tie into a financial dimension. It just tracks which advertisements our customers have ordered from and things like that. It's only the source code field that needs to be changed.

    Thanks!

    Hi bsarge,

That parameter controls editability of whole record irrespective of allowEdit property in AOT. Easiest way would be to turn it off, edit and put it back, otherwise you need to do a mod and change several places in a code that could be not trivial.
