We just upgraded to CRM 365, on-premise version 8.2.3.8. There is no "shortcut to recent work" icon on the top menu, also no records in the "recently viewed". Is there a setting somewhere to turn that on?

Here is how we solve this problem:
We have to do the upgrade like this: From 2011-2013-2015, upgrade to V8.0.0.1088. Then directly go to 8.2.2. This is working so far. If we install any version in between or go to 8.2.3, we will have this problem(and dashboard problem).
Can you please share screenshot.Seems you need to raise ticket to MS.

Is this happening for all user or particular user ? Try with different browser and different machine, different user login.
