Different Batch Cost Price for Partially Production and Item Tracing

I have a partially report as finish for FG in one production order with two batch number that have financially cost.

FG- Batch 01

FG-Batch 02

I created a one production order that consume

RM-Batch01    Cost 100 (Financially batch)

RM-Batch02    Cost 200(Financially batch)

And start quantity 1, consume RM-Batch01    Cost 100, then

Start quantity 1, RM-Batch02    Cost 200

When END the production

Both FG batches will have cost 150.

FG- Batch 01

FG-Batch 02

And when trace FG-Batch01 or FG-Batch02 both will show that consumed both RM Batches.

Can AX specify the cost of RAF based on consumed Picking list

FG- Batch 01 COST 100

FG-Batch 02   COST 200

That is exactly even financially batch for both RM and Different report as finished batches will not be connected. AX will sum all RM batches and divide it on Report as finish quantity there is no lonk between picking list journal and report as finish journal. Even you make sequencr start and finish when end the production AX will recalculate it based on summation.

    Thanks a lot

I think, I'm beginning to understand your scenario now. You do have different batches as input. Now per input batch, you want to have a batch number for the finished good. And then also have the cost per batch. For that purpose, you can enable the Financial option in the tracking dimension group for the batch dimension.

I think the tracing would be a bit more cumbersome as there is no link between report as finished and the picking journal. Functionally, you can try to use the same batch number or have a customization where you can link BOM batch with FG batch.

    Dear André,

The FG have 5 levels to be produced

    RM1

    Semi-Finished 1+RM2

    Semi-Finished 2+RM3

    Semi-Finished 3+RM4

    Semi-Finished 4+RM5

    FG

RM have different cost per batch number (50 kg per batch) so the price of semi-finished are fluctuated based of consumed materials.

They are produced around 600 kg per day.

    I have two main purpose:

1- Tracing, If we have a problem with FG and we want to know which RM batch used to produce the FG.( AX will show all batches).

2- Cost per produced batch, for semi-Finished and FG.

If I will create separate production order for each batch I will have more than 30 production for each FG, if they produce 10 FGs, we will have more than 300 production orders !!!! difficult to trace them

    Hi Mohammad,

I have never seen this requirement before. I don't think this is possible. Initially, It doesn't make sense to me. Can you explain the business scenario where this is applicable?
