Transport days based on zip code range

I want to set the transport days depensing on zip code. As it is in standard, i can only use one zip code for each row / transport row. I would need to choose zip codes in a specific range. Is this possible? Either by choosing a range, or by choosing all zipcodes that starts with certain X first numbers.

You cannot do that without customization.

As it is a lookup field, if you enter a non existing value, Standard will throw error like 'Postcode 9999 is not found for Country Aus.' Do you want multi select or range in attached form (and all objects related to this particular process) or everywhere in application?

Yes, i tried Mohit Rampals suggestions but i did not get the prompt to choose multi select or range. How would the proper customization be in this standard lookup table?

that lookup field did actually not throw that error. Cant choose a range. Or am i missing something?
