Is it possible to specify a receiving location on the Item Card?

Hi all

We are using BC manufacturing module. We are able to default the location code on transactions via the Vendor Card, but sometimes we have vendors who will produce items in different locations. Is it possible to control this via the item card?

This could be achieved with a modification.

Work alongside your Microsoft partner to devise an appropriate solution.

Hi

As Josh mentioned no out of the box option. We had the same need through development we added to "Item Vendor Catalog" and this way we can go based on Item-Vendor.

Hi, unfortunately, as the above two experts said, this feature is not included in the standard, and you may need a small customization.

You can add a "Location Code" field in the Item first.
Then after validating "item no.", get the Location Code on the Item Card.
