Hi All,
I have been having some issues with time entries in D365 PSA since daylight savings came in this year.
All users timezones are set to GMT +0:00 (Dublin, London..)
But the issue is that users enter their time Monday to Friday and then submit.
However when we review the submitted records they are all one day behind, because they have been time stamped with 23:00
the previous day. This obviously makes my records wrong and a potential issue in an audit.
As a test I set my own timezone to GMT (Universal Coordinated Time) and entered a few weeks of time cards and everything is fine, the dates all align.
This is obviously due to the cloud based systems being UTC standard and the DST playing havoc with my times as DST is not-standard.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Also, would anyone foresee any knock on effects of changing the user timezones in other areas on the platform (CRM, Projects, Resourcing)?
Thanks,
Jason
