Stop the subscription on Dynamics 365 for marketing

Posted on by

Hello Dears,

Please can you help me on the below:

If a Customer proceeds with a monthly Dynamics 365 for marketing subscription for a number of months and then stops the subscription for a certain period, will their data and configuration be affected/deleted? If yes, please advise on the grace period provided before this would happen.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Clofly,

    Thanks for your help.

It will be great too, to get the answer from billing Team directly, this should be more specific and goes directly the existing case. But unfortunately, the link is not routing me to Billing support Team.

    Your assistance is highly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Rihab

    Thanks Abhinav for your assistance.

Through the link you shared, I found the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement apps Online Service Agreement, which states:

"4.3 Effect of termination: Upon termination or cancellation of the Service by either party for any reason, Microsoft may delete Customer’s Content permanently from its servers. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Microsoft will keep Customer’s Content for a period of 90 days before it is deleted from Microsoft’s servers. Customer is solely responsible for taking the necessary steps to back up its Content and ensure that it maintains its primary means of business."

Many thanks again for your assistance and guidance.

    Best Regards,

    Rihab

    Hi Rihab,

I've not found specific answer about grace period for marketing application, I just found doc about O365 subscription end.

I suggest you could ask for billing support.

    Regards,

    Clofly

    Hi Rihab,

As per my understanding, Please refer to this document https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/admin/cancel-subscription for more details on Cancellation and existing data.

    Hope it helps,
