Upgrade Outlook-client 4.0 to 2016

Hi,

our customer is currently using CRM 4.0 and we will upgrade the server next month to CRM 2016.

My question now is: how to migrate the outlook-Client from 4.0 to 2016?

There are some documentation about migrating from 4.0 to 2011. Can I just use them to migrate to 2016 (instead of 2011) or are there some extra steps to do?

What about already synchronized contacts? will the new CRM 2016 just recognize them?

Hi Tobias

If all data is already sent from Outlook to CRM then it is ok, Just Uninstall the old one and Install the new one (I would presume that you are updating Outlook aswell)
