Can someone please provide examples and what over and under delivery exactly means with sales orders (percentages)

When I try and post a pack slip I get error (overdelivery of line is 100.00 percent, but the allowed overdelivery is only 0.00 percent

    Hello Janie,

Can you please check your sales order lines?

The settings for the allowed over/underdelivery are most probably set to 0.

If you change this setting then you should be able to post.

More information on over/underdelivery can be found here:

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Janie,

the introduction on the blog from Lachlan (OrganicAX) is telling you the purpose. When you order goods, depending on the scenario, you would allow for over or underdelivery. When you order televisions, you might not want to receive more to prevent over-stock and aging of the model.

When you buy grind or sand, and you order a full ship (e.g. 700 tons), you can setup percentage to control a margin for over and underdelivery. The quantity receipt may vary due to weather conditions during transport. You can then setup e.g. 5% or 10%.
