Problems with MS Import/Export Framework

Hi everyone!

I've just installed MS Import/Export Framework in a Contoso environment for importing data. So far - so good!

The problems occur when I'm trying to import the file (Get staging data), or "preview source file". It says that the user doesn't have permission to get the file.

Import configuration:

File type: CSV

File: Microsoft demo file

Code page: 1252 (WE EU)

So my questions is basically: How can I change the permissions for the user after installation of the framework? Or is there anything else I can have done wrong..

    Hi Daniel,

    Make sure the AOS account has permissions on the folder with the source files.

    Hi Daniel,

    Sorry for the late answer. You probably have it solved out already. Otherwise ask the system administrators in your company for help. They can help you exploring the security on folders or any other security settings. I don't know the details in your environment/company.
