Data entity Does not populate Values

Hi all,

I have to consume Entity by Odata services (purpose: Integration to power Apps).

Before this, when I try to verify Data.

But it doest not return any data for belongs to the user's default company never when we specify a cross-company =true to fetch data from all other companies that user has access to.

Entity called ProdProductPickingListJournalHeaders is a system standard entity wich is not be extended. We just try to fetch data.

Any Help will be gratefull.

Could you please rephrase "never when we specify a cross-company =true to fetch data from all other companies that user has access to"? I'm not sure what you mean by that.

So no data whether you use cross-company or not? Because I decrypted the first part "But it doest not return any data for belongs to the user's default company" as that it doesn't return any data for the default company, i.e. when you don't use cross-company.

It seems that your environment doesn't contain any data for the entity. Why do you think it does?

If it's a custom entity, it seems that the implementation isn't correct. Please test entity inside F&O before trying to call it from outside.

For the two scenarios : use cross-company or not there is no Data.

Entity must contain Data because Table ( as main Data Source) contains many records.

Yes,It is a Custom entity created automatically from Table ProdJournalTable ( main Data Source ) and I confirm that even in Data Management Export does generate 0 records.

Additional Information :It seems that there is an extension done in the initValue method Of the Table on another Model. It could be the reason of the problem?

No, that the table contains records doesn't mean that the entity must return any of them. For example, you might have an inner join with a table containing no data and therefore the result is nothing.

You already have two proofs that your entity doesn't work (data export and OData), therefore you should accept this fact and start debugging your entity.

You may want to review the data sources, as mentioned, or look at the T-SQL definition of the view in database.

why do you have $metadata there ? it should be something like .../data/ProdProductionPickingListJournalHeaders?cross-company=true

So, ProdProductPickingListJournalHeaders is an entity based on ProdJournalTable? Public Collection Name? Maybe I missed or misunderstood it.

Did you sync the database, because I created it, everything is normal.
