Installation of Management Reporter For Dynamics GP 2015R2

Good morning all.  I need to pick some of the community's brains.  I need to transition from FRx to Management Reporter.  I have a few questions:

  1. Does Management Reporter have to be set up on a separate server than GP or can it be installed on the same server?
  2. Is there a step by step guide anywhere to help me in setting this up?

Obviously, I want/need to set this up and I want to set it up correctly the first time.

I greatly appreciate the help!

    MR can be installed on the same server as Microsoft Dynamics GP.
