Can this be disabled? - "To see Yammer conversations about this record, you'll have to follow it."

Hi everyone, we just bought Dynamics 2016 online as part of our Office 365.  A partner we work with uses Salesforce and we LOVE using Chatter on there, where instead of email we can just write a post and @ someone else.  When I started with Dynamics I could mostly do this under Posts I think it was.  While in settings I enabled the Yammer integration (we don't use Yammer but looks like something that we might so figured why not).  Since I turned it on, I noticed that "Posts" are now gone on layouts and is replaced by Yammer which on the one record I had open seemed to be basically like an enhanced Posts page.  However now under records, Yammer always show "To see Yammer conversations about this record, you'll have to follow it. Otherwise, for security reasons, the conversations won't be visible to you."

It's confusing as I own the record I'm on, but either way can this be disabled and it just be visible to everyone or work like normal posts do?  I guess following it isn't the end of the world but as a manager when I go into an opportunity one of my agents is working on I don't necessarily want to follow them all just to read their notes.

You can't turn off Yammer once you have enabled it.

The advantage of Yammer is to share conversations with people inside and outside CRM, but I don't know many people who have found the way it works to be satisfactory.
