Application of Payment Entry with Different Currency

Hi All,  is it possible to apply payment to a purchase invoice which are in different currencies?  The purchase invoice was raised in USD (our local currency INR) and we made the payment in EURO from our USD bank account.Could anyone assist on this? how to apply the payment.

    Check your  Purchases & Payables Setup and set the  Appln. between Currencies field to All .
