Syncing contacts to Dynamics from SQL

Hello. The majority of our contact records currently reside in various SQL databases. What are the preferred methods or best practices around connecting to these SQL databases from D365 (or in reality connecting SQL DB's and pushing to D365) to create and sync these contact records in Dynamics?

There are a few ways to do this, but I believe the best way is to use KingswaySoft.
