Roll up standard costs

I am looking in dynamic to roll up standard costs for a range of products.

i go into the standard cost worksheet, suggest item standard cost, delete replenish system filter and add item category code (to only use my product). i run this.

i then go to roll up standard cost, delete the costing method filter and again add category code (to only use my product). i run this.

what do i do next as when i then run single level cost shares using the rolled up cost filter my costs dont update.

any help would be appreciated.
