CRM Online integration with Exchange Online for Server Side Sync

Having some issues around integration CRM Online with Exchange Online by using Server Side Sync.

When Testing/Enabling user profile for synchronization I receive "Unknown" errors on Outgoing/Incoming test, however Appointments/Contacts/Tasks test works fine.

I've setup an O365 "CRMSync" service account using a K2 license and gave it AplicationInpersonation rights on Exchange Online. And using "Credential Specified in Email Profile" for Authentication method. The exact error is:

"An unexpected error occurred while receiving email. The mailbox ****** has been disabled for receiving email and the owner of the associated email server profile Microsoft Exchange Online has been notified."

I understand there is very little technical info available for CRM Online server side sync specifically with Exchange Online, but maybe someone has encountered this before? Also are there any other way to get a more descriptive error reporting besides looking at alerts?

Figured it out, hate being alpha tester for MS. There is a bug in CRM Online if your user name and email are different then Server Side Sync test fails. Email needs to be entered manually if its different from user ID.

    Hello,

Currently the Server side synchronization facility is not available in CRM online .

It might be available in the future release. You can use either Email router or Outlook Client to send or receive emails if you are using CRM online.

    Sorry Gayatri,

But we are currently running with the same screnario(CRM Online & Exchange Online) successfully. You can check this link: msdn.microsoft.com/.../dn531050.aspx

With the recent release Spring '14 its available now.

    Thank you!

What do you mean it is not available? According to the MSDN docs this is a supported scenario. See here: "Supported email service configurations for server-side synchronization" (technet.microsoft.com/.../dn531050.aspx ) where it explicitly states it is supported, along with POP3.
