Alert for upcoming appointments

Just like in Outlook, you can easily view upcoming Microsoft Teams meetings at the top of the header, as shown in the image below:

We're interested in finding out if there's a similar feature in D365 based on activities.

Specifically, we're looking for an alert system for upcoming appointments.

Not as far as I'm aware (last I check the closest we had was the Assistant control that would appear on Accounts/Contact forms), at least not exactly like you see in Outlook.

Personally, I'd drive this from a dashboard with a subgrid that has Activities, there is already a default view called My Activities (sorted on reverse chronological order), and distill best practice of user's starting their day from the dashboard.

Unfortunately, we can't achieve this same feature in the Dynamics app page.

So you need do any customizations available to get notifications.

For example:

--Set in-app notification within D365 apps/model-driven apps:

Microsoft documentation provides a code method to set up, you can also try to use power automate to set up, it will be more simple and easy to operate!
