Using only one datasource (Dataverse)

Does it make sense to use Customer Insights - Data if I only have one datasource (Dynamics CE/Dataverse)? Basically I was thinking Customer Insights - Data could be useful to create segments and scalable measures within the environment that can be configured without developing a custom solution. Does it make sense to use Customer Insights - Data or should I create a custom solution for this use case since I am not pooling multiple sources of data?

    Even if you have one data source, you can create a 360-degree view of your customers from that data source.
    Gain a deeper understanding of your customers and use those insights to drive customer-centric experiences and processes. Unify and understand customer data and harness it for intelligent insights and actions.

    Thank you for the response - I had watched that same video several days ago. But was still under the impression multiple datasources made this tool more powerful. We are looking to use the segments and measures to make a "scorecard" of the customer. So hopefully this will still work for us.
