Creating Reports with a custom entity and custom fields in Dynamics 365 Marketing module

Hello,

We are using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing Module. Is it possible to create Reports and Dashboards based on custom entity and custom fields that we have created ?

If yes, how is it possible ?

    Hi there,

    Dynamics 365 Marketing is, like Dynamics 365 Field Service, a little bit less xRM than Dynamics 365 CE. It provides ready to use tooling and templates for Marketing professionals where D365 CE is designed to enhance the best practice configuration with your own custom data model.

    Nevertheless, off course you can create reports and dashboards since it is a model driven app based on CDS/CDM.

    Hello there,

    We are actually trying to create some custom entities with fields in it. Now we need to create reports and dashboards based on those custom entities and fields in our Marketing Module so as the users can log in and view the progress based on those entities and fields.

    I am asking this as Marketing module does not provide to create report or dashboard based on all email communications sent out like opens, clicks, deliveries.

    If its possible to create reports on custom entities and fields than we can create our own and do some testing.

    Hello,

    We are new to Marketing module and we are just testing that marketing module can give reports and display dashboards on custom entities and fields we create so later if required we can create custom entities and generate reports for clients.
