Hi,How do you flag a product as discontinued within Ax 2012?

In the default order settings you can set the item for stopped. This can be by purchase, stock or sales. You can then set the alternate product settings on teh sell tab of the item card.
There is still nothing better ?
Something that permit easy filtering...
Do not believe so. Easy filtering would depend where from. You can easily filter the stopped items out of the released products list. Purchase orders I would argue use the approved vendor functionality and with sales orders probably where you most want it there is nothing ideal - add lines and advanced filter, not looked at Retail or Call Centre functionality but that would depend if you are asking for R3 or not.

What call you stopped items ? the blocked released items ? I just know block a product and use the alternative item fields... it's not so bad but I need to find the good filter for the released products.
As said earlier - default order settings and stopped - in the released product grid it is really easy to filter out items that have sales stopped set to yes using the advanced filter.
