Microsoft Dynamics 365 9.0.10.11

I have created some basic fields for the contacts entity and added those fields on the Contact form. as a system administrator the fields are visible for me on this form. but for a system customizer or other roles the fields are not visible on the Contact form.

the custom fields added on the Contact views are visible for the users. Its not visible on the Contacts Form.

CRM is basic installation, no workflows/processes or plugins are active.

Does anyone have this same behavior, or am i missing something?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Have you check the security roles that are assigned to that form? Maybe it's just assigned to system admin.

    Hi

Could you please check followings  -

    - Make sure you are in some forms.

    - Check  whether you have any business rules or JavaScript associated with those fields

    - Check fields dependencies which are not showing in the forms . Follow below article -

    https://www.marksgroup.net/blog/dynamics-365-field-field-form-dependencies/

    - Check if you have any role based forms, which redirect in different forms or not.

    https://community.dynamics.com/crm/b/microsoftdynamicscrmsolutions/posts/role-based-forms

    - Try to do publish all customization and clear browser cache , re-login in dynamics 365.

Could you please share some screenshots of you form design view and an actual record view if you can?  I would check if there are any scripts on the form to hide fields.
