Exact time sent email in customer journeys

Good day!


In the Customer journey, I set Start time, for example, 9:00 and I want the letters to start sending exactly at 9:00, not 9:03, 9:05 or 9:15.

Tell me, please, is it possible to configure the customer journey so that the email send at the exact time?

    Hi Olga,

    In general, the customer journey will start as soon as possible when the start time comes.

    From my using experience, it will not exceed two minutes even if there is delay and this situation rarely happens. 

    If your segment size is large(about 1k contacts), you could set customer journey to start after some period to make it be totally live.

    e.g: If your journey has been configured well at 8:45, then you could set the journey to start at 9:00, it shall executes at 9:00 exactly as expect.

    Thanks for your reply

    Our shipping now ranges from 0 to 5 minutes. We would like the contact to receive a email at exactly 9:00 for example. We can set the start time at 8:58, but there are situations when email send at 8:58 or 09:02.

    Maybe we can buy a separate service for sending, but will it guarantee accurate sending?

    Hi Olga, 

    To the best of my knowledge, the exact start time would depend on Dynamics 365 back-end server. 

    You could open a support ticket to ask whether they could adjust the start time to precise degree for your instance.
