Has anyone integrated 3rd party document management with Portals?

Hi everyone,

I have a requirement where I need to integrate a bespoke document management product with Power Apps Portals.

The document management software has it's own web service WSDL and will require .net to communicate with the API.

As we cannot write .net code with Portals I am a bit stuck on a solution to start this requirement.

The client will eventually change to SharePoint. However, they want to stick to this bespoke product for the time being.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

my suggestion would be letting the Portals store as a CRM note

and then you add a plugin against the note (or preferably your main record) to integrate with the 3rd party system
