We've seen a few cases recently come in with this error, and since the links to download the needed files seem to keep changing, we wanted to put this out in a blog, so that we can keep the information updated for everyone.
The error seen for all users, when attempting to view logs in Integration Manager for Microsoft Dynamics GP, whether in the integration process window or even when clicking on View > Integration Log, it shows the error:
"Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 provider is not registered viewing log"
What I found to work recently, is to do the following:
1. Manually uninstall the 'Office Access Database Engine 2007' and 'Report Viewer Redistributable 2008' applications from the server that Integration Manager is installed onto, if they even exist.
2. Download and install the Report Viewer 2008 application via this link:
Download Report Viewer Redistributable 2008 Service Pack 1 GDIPLUS.DLL Security Update from Official Microsoft Download Center
It should return that 'Microsoft Report Viewer Redistributable 2008 (KB971119) has been successfully installed.'
3. Then, use the following link to download and install the '2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components':
2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download
4. Launch Integration Manager again and click on View > Integration Log to see if the error now looks to be resolved, or the same error occurs.
If resolved, this should also resolve the View Logs button in the Progress window when actively running a integration via Integration Manager.
Please let us know if you have any issues with this blog or the links stop working, so we can keep it as updated as possible.
