I have setup Dynamics 365 Sales Connection and after some difficulties I managed to get it working. We wanted to go live, but in one last final test we got one problem. All fields that are setup synchronize perfectly only the salesperson is not working any more. It keeps the code that is in CRM and we cannot get it to change from within the synchronisation.
Even if I directly op the CRM Account and chanhe the salesperson it always changes to the old setting. In CRM itself it is still possible to change this salesperson.
What could be wrong ?

Is there a synchronization error in the error log and is the CRM synch solution altered / modified compared to the standard synchronization solution Microsoft did ship?
There are no errors in the log . I have several fields that I synchronize. These are doing well, only salesperson is not working.
I have altered the CRM Setup defaults because we had to add some fields for synchornisation.
I assume the key to the root cause is to be found in the customization. What did you adjust. If you do have a consistent repro in standard database (CRONUS company) with the adjustment you may want to ask your partner to raise a support request to Microsoft.
