Is there a website/documents that outline the changes that have been made to Dynamics, specifically the underlying database structure. Our company is moving from
Dynamics 2009 Nav R2 to Dynamics 365 Business Central and noticed that when we push data to customers table, there are number of columns that are no longer there and
quite a few new columns. I am just wondering if that is a result of column deprecation, new features or some other reason such as a feature not having been enabled? I assume
column deprecation, but would like to know more about other impacting changes too.
Try this: docs.microsoft.com/.../deprecated-fields
There are others for other versions of NAV. Given the number of versions between 2009r2 and BC you may need to check a few others for the correct localisation to get a true impression
With OnPrem Dynamics NAV release, we ship Cumulative Update. On Cumulative Update product DVD you can download, there is Application Folder with fob and txt files including change log txt file.
Maybe this is what you are looking for apart from what Josh mentioned.
