Hi, I am new to D365 Commerce and hoping someone can help me with an issue I am facing with my POS configuration. I create a sales order on POS, from the transaction screen I click on Add customer, but the customer list is blank. (see screenshots).
However, when I use the search bar, I can find my customer using search and then add the customer to the sale from the customer record.
How do I get the customer list to display in die "Add customer" list?
The following config is done:
1. Customer address book linked to Store/Channel
2. Same address book linked to the customer
3. Customer search criteria defined in Commerce parameters
3. 9999 Ful sync job ran, and checked download sessions that all changes were applied.
This is by design.
You need search the customer and add it to cart.
You also can use numpad to add the customer.
Hope this can help you.
May I know do you have any more questions for it?
If you have no more questions, please mark as "Verified" if the answer is helpful. Thanks in advance.
Hi Xusheng, I don't agree with the solution. Why is that specific page then included in POS if it is by design that no customers are displayed?
Once you click the icon "Add customer", it will go the customer search UI directly. then you can use the search bat to query your customer.
Much more info you can see below site:
BTW, I think you also can log a new ticket to double check with Microsoft support team if you still have concerns for this design.
