We've noticed as we're deploying new code to Dynamics 365 instances via the Package Deployer, the auto numbering prefix is overwritten in the next environment when deployed (i.e. from Dev to Test/UAT). As such, we'd like to use a post deployment script that would reset the case auto-numbering prefix as we have a different prefix per environment.
Has anyone used/seen a PowerShell script that would apply this? I've not seen anything in docs online so far.
There's an XRM Toolbox plugin for manipulating Auto Number fields
