I am facing an issue, when I am cancelling the Parent Case it prompts me to Cancel Child Case first according to my settings which is correct, but as soon as i close the window without cancelling the Parent Case the BPF (on the Parent Case) which is still not finished becomes inactive even if the case is not cancelled.
Can someone provide a solution to this?
How did you set the rule of canceling cases? Did you use plug-in or workflow?
Please check your rule when the instance providing the warning "should cancel the child case first" ,will it prevent the cancellation of the case? Or just show this warning and continue to cancel the parent case so that the BPF had been disabled?
If you are using C#, please provide the code of logical judge part.
Hope it helps.
I have used Parent Child Case Relationship which is under Service Management which allows all child cases to be closed if Parent case is closed.
The warning which appears prevents cancellation of the case. However on closing the warning message it disables the BPF without parent case getting cancelled.
