I am a D365 FnO technical who is new to CRM.
I am trying to integrate CRM with D365 FnO. I have used CDS for this and was able to export Contacts, Products and Sales orders. But my requirement is when I am selecting the product in Opportunity or Sales Quotation or sales orders in CRM, sales price and discounts should be fetched from AX. To be clear, when I am creating a sales line in AX, it will run a pricing engine and sales price and discounts will be filled automatically in AX. I need the similar thing to be there in CRM also. So when I am creating a line in CRM, it should run the pricing engine in AX and fetch data from there.
So I am assuming to create some API that will fetch the prices from AX and will populate in CRM when creating Opportunities or Sales orders.
Is this the right way to proceed and if yes, can anyone share me some useful blogs or documentations.
Or else any one have another solution for achieiving this.
If you are on CRM Online, there is a tool called "prospect to cash" that could fit to your needs.
Please see below the link:
Mine is engineered the other way, pricing in CE but, if you are manufacturing OQO product/details in F&O I would guess you should be setting the connector to ship opportunityproducts/quotedetails/orderdetails to CE. Also would be a good idea to turn off the CE pricing mechanism in System Settings.
I have already applied prospect to cash solution. It doesnt work the way I need. It will not pick the item price automaticaly.
If you are still struggling with your integration may I suggest you investigate Commercient SYNC. They have implemented over 85 integrations between multiple ERP & CRMS. Their integrations are highly customizable and can be as in-depth or as simple as needed.
