if a XAL customer tries to export records from XAL to Excel 2010 the XAL Kernel crashes
He works with the following system enviroment:
Win 7 (64 Bit)
Small Business Server 2003 with SQL database
XAL Kernel 184.108.40.2061
I cannot reproduce on 64-bit Excel 2010.
New versions of ConMSW32.dll and ConMSE32.dll were released for XAL 3.5 SP5.
Check that the most recent version of these files are used.
the new versions of ConMSW32.dll and ConMSE32.dll are installed. XAL exports the records to Excel 2010 - that´s ok ! But after the export the XAL Kernel crashes.
Since XAL is a deprecated product (no more updates available), there is very little I can suggest since I don't see the same crash..
The only means you have is to try to change the environment in which XAL executes, e.g. create a local copy of the installation and see if problem persists.
I have just come across a similar case, where the problem was solved.
In general concerning crashes, check whether Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is enabled on hardware (computer’s BIOS) or in Windows (Windows DEP).
On my computer hardware DEP is turned off, and Windows DEP is running the default configuration, which is “Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only”
With this configuration I can print to 64-bit Excel (411 pages of financial entries) without crashing.
The particular work for the similar process where it is going to make it work for the most of the it which is having the formulated part which will be going to provide the entire without crashing the configuration so hpsupports.co/hp-support-australia will help you to get the solution for the XAL to export to excel 2010 for the working part.
