I understand we have web authentication using client credentials and authentication user user credentials.
Web authentication - Register web app in Azure and use app id and secret id
Normal authentication - Register native app in Azure and use user credentials
Is my understanding right ? Or can we achieve authentication by adding user a owners in a web app as well?
Thanks in advance.
It's well documented here services home page#authentication
You can use either native app or web app and then you need to add app I'd in FnO to associate it with a user.

Two kinds of application are supported in Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AAD):
Native client application – This flow uses a user name and password for authentication and authorization.
Web application (Confidential client) – A confidential client is an application that can keep a client password confidential to the world. The authorization server assigned this client password to the client application.
I did downloaded those examples from github you'll find code tutorials that are very helpful, one of the examples will show you different ways to authenticate with Dynamics.
