Hi, fresher here, I was trying to debug my RDP but it seems that the debugger never run through my RDP. Tried the workaround on AX but the services is missing in d365. please help, thanks!
Could you provide some more details? What do you mean by debugging of RDP?
You should debug directly inside your dev VM, on the same server where D365FO app is running.
What do you mean by "services is missing in D365"?
Debug with VS.
Set a breakpoint.
Attach to process w3wp
Make sure you load all the symbols.
hi Nikolaos i have a rdp class and i want to see how my temp table get populated, so i put some breakpoints on it.
Yes it is on my VM where my d365FO is running.
I have looked to services and did not find this "Microsoft Dynamics AX Object Server".
Ah, ok so you mean Report Data Provider class. I though you mean RDP connection (Remote Desktop) and that's why I was confused.
There's no service for Microsoft Dynamics AX Object Server, instead it's w3wp.exe or iisexpress.exe (take the one which you find on your machine).
You can also search the web for "dynamics 365 operations debug" to find plenty of help if you encounter any issues.
Exactly what im looking for, thanks!
