I currently have a requirement where i would like to import Resources and attach Skills to each resource using the 1 import. I want to avoid manually attaching skills to each resource.
Any information/guidance would be much appreciated.
You need to ensure the characteristics/skills are loaded in before associating to a resource. You can then load resources and bookable resource characteristics.
You can use 1 import file but it’s a 2-step process because you’re hitting different entities. Are you looking to automate the load process?
Thanks for your reply.
So just for clarity, we would need to 1) Import the Skills/Characteristics 2) Assign the Skills/Characteristics to the Resource within the import template? 3) Import Resources with Skills into PSA (Resource)?
My apologies if i have misunderstood your email.
