It seems that you require a certain access level to some entity if you want a user to create a project record if that user is part of the child BU (not the parent).
I cannot seem to figure out which option (s) I need to set as Organisations level access.
Even when assigning the Project Manager role to a user which is the on the child BU it just throws a generic error

Has someone experienced a similar issue? or can point to which option I need to grant organisational level access?
Please check whether the Project Manager has permissions for the relevant entities of the project.
I think you actually have the practice manager role there and not the project manager...
My project manager role have parent child permissions not full organisational privileges.
I however have a custom role which has full permissions like in the your shot above but I'm still missing a setting somewhere.
This is not straight forward as somehow the calendar permission under service management is also required to be on organisational level at least...
These kind of issues can occur if you are missing privileges on entity "Playbook Callable Contexts" and "Post Configurations". Please give it a go with these privileges
