I need to learn like how we set the security related things to Dynamics 365 Retail.
If we develop new table or forms to POS retail functionality, how we can create the seperate new previleges, duties and roles and how we can use and apply to that corresponding form to the corresponding workers who can access the particular stores.
Thanks in advance,
Hi, do you mean D365 backoffice security or POS security?
If you mean D365 backoffice (new table, form) - X++ development, then standard D365 security development best practices apply.
If you mean POS database and creation of a new table there + view in POS - you can extend 'POS permissions' functionality on POS side to control access to form, D365 security framework does not work here.
