My opportunity has 3 forms and 3 different business process flows. They are all designated through security roles. User 1 has access to form 1 and business process flow 1 and that is it. 2 has form 2 and process 2 etc. Opportunities are open through our company so they can still see each others.
I have users who don't have access to certain process flows that when they open an opportunity with show a process flow they don't have access to??? Help!
If the user doesn't have access to BPF then it won't show up when the user opens the record.
Hope this helps.
That is what I envisioned would happen but the user either opens up to an opportunity with no process flow or with one they are not supposed to have access to. Is this a bug that I should open a ticket?
I have tested this and confirm that if the user doesn't have access to the BPF then they won't see that BPF. If for the record the BPF instance is created and they have access to that BPF then it will show up in the record. I have noticed that the BPF cached very frequently so if you are testing this make sure you clear the cache or open a new inprivate/ incognito mode after each change.
Thank you. I also found out that during our latest licensing with Microsoft they added roles to all users for Sales App which granted access to these roles. Removing that plus the caching fixed the problem. Thanks!
