I don't think it checks the managed web resources. This make sense cause even if you have any issues you won't be able to changes the managed web resources. Also, you will anyway have to request for the updated managed solution for your Dynamics 365 V9 environment.

Assuming you have some third party solution installed on your system (e.g. Ribbon Workbench), you need to contact the third party vendor to get the updated version.
