I am setting up CRM for a company that sells in units for a price with up to 6 decimal places. When i try to set this up on a price list, dynamics 365 only allows me to use euro which is set to 2 decimal places by default and can be changed to 4 at most. The amount field also defaults to 2 places and the Product Price list appears to be locked from editing so i can not change the field or create a new field to replace it. Is there any possible resolution or work around for this?
well... I am not aware if there is a technical solution - which would honestly be the best way.
But of course you could just multiply all prices by 10*10 = 100 (2 decimal places) and use the 4 decimal places that are available.
Of course in like every report and every data the values must be divided by 100 again, to show the values in Euro.
So its basically having all Currencies fields as "cent" value and not as euro value fields.
Though of course, this probably should be like a last effort solution.
I had considered doing this, however as far as i understand, this would cause a significant amount of issues when attempting to create a quote. I also tried to create a specific currency for cent but it does not seem to be possible.
