I've just turned on Email Engagement for Dynamics 365.
I see that emails which are send from within the web interface of Dynamics are automatically Followed (ie you can see the interaction on when they were opened) but cannot see how to automatically set it that way from Outlook. I want all emails which are Tracked from Outlook to automatically be Followed. Can anyone advise how I achieve this?
Unfortunately, this is currently impossible.
The email tracked from Outlook is in the Sent status, it is read-only, so we can't follow it anymore.
If you're using D365 App for Outlook, you could manually follow emails tracked from Outlook.
